Remote Area Medical (RAM) In Haiti

Here at MyHealthCafe.com, we’re great fans of Remote Area Medical (RAM), a fantastic group which organizes free medical, dental, vision and even veterinary clinics for those who cannot afford medical care. Although we usually talk about RAM’s great work in the U.S. like the free clinic they held in Los Angeles last spring which served more than 7,000 people, RAM also does incredible humanitarian work overseas. NBC’s Dateline recently did a story on RAM’s work with Haiti’s earthquake victims, and we thought that it was something we really needed to share with our followers:
